Abstract

The Cibadak Religious Court and the Sukabumi Religious Court in achieving their vision and mission as Judicial Bodies tasked with helping people seek justice, of course, must be proven by showing performance as Religious Court officials which can be done through tiered career development and provision of appropriate remuneration for the performance produced. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze the effect of career development and remuneration either partially or simultaneously on the performance of non-judge employees at the Cibadak Religious Court and the Sukabumi Religious Court. The research design used is causal research with research methods using survey research with descriptive and inferential statistical approaches. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed that career development had an effect on the performance of non- judge employees at the Cibadak Religious Court and the Sukabumi Religious Court with the effect of career development on employee performance of 47.7%. Then remuneration affects the performance of non-judge employees at the Cibadak Religious Court and Sukabumi Religious Court with a percentage of the influence of remuneration on employee performance of 20.3% and career development and remuneration affects the performance of non-judge employees at the Cibadak Religious Court and Sukabumi Religious Court with a percentage the effect of career development and remuneration on employee performance is 59.9%. Suggestions that can be put forward should improve the skills (capabilities) of employees/officials at the Cibadak and Sukabumi Religious Courts to continue to improve quality continuously through training activities, technical guidanceheld both within the Religious Courts and the Supreme Court, then remuneration should be used as a morale booster for employees to show their best performance and the number of employees should be increased so that there are no multiple positions.
