Writingisoneofthemediathatcanbeusedtocommunicate.By writing,peoplecangiveopinionsorinformations,addnew insight,and expressthemselves.Writing to expresspersonalthoughtsand feelings mentionedasexpressivewriting.Expressivewritingdoesnotworrythewriter aboutgrammar,butdependsonvocabularythathasbeenmastered.This studyanalysedtheimportanceofvocabularymasteryinexpressivewriting. TenmembersinTheHouseofRevivalcommunityhavewritinghabits thathasbeenobserved.Theyalsodidaninterviewtogivemoreinformation abouttheirhabitsandobstaclethattheyencounteredwhenwriting.Answers from theinterviewwererecordedandtranscribedtogetmoreinformation. Theyhavedifficultyinexpressingthemselveswhenwritingbecauseoftheir limitedvocabulary. TheylikeusingEnglishwordstoexpressthemselvesbecauseEnglish wordshavedeepandbeautifulmeaning.However,theyoftenusethesame wordtoexpressdifferentthingbecausetheydonotlearnmanyvocabularies. Theyusegoogletranslateoronlinedictionarytofindthewordtheywantto use.Theyhavetomastermanynewvocabulariesbyreadingabook,watch westernmovieswith subtitleand listen to western musics.Vocabulary masteryisimportantinwritingforwriterstoexpressthemselvesandreaders tounderstandthematerialwritten.
