Abstract

Agista (2018). The Use of ToonDoo in Teaching English Sentence Writing at First Semester of English Department Universitas Bandar Lampung in Academic Year 2018/2019. Bandar Lampung. Teaching Training and Education Faculty Universitas Bandar Lampung. Teaching writing is not easy to make the students’ understand the material. The teacher should find out strategies to make the students’ can accepted and understood the material. Teachers’ can use media/application in teaching. In the research, teachers’ can teach by using application. One of the applications is ToonDoo. This research is used qualitative research. Data gathering of this research is used observation, questionnaire, and interview. This research is aimed to know how the students’ learning process in v learning writing by using ToonDoo application. The population and sample of this research is first semester/ writing I class English Department Universitas Bandar Lampung. The data were collected in three stages: observation, questionnaire, and interview. The result of this research showed that the use of ToonDoo application can improve the students’ learning process and help the students’ in developing their writing skill especially in writing sentences.
