Speaking, especially in a foreign language, is an activity that is indispensable for all ages of learners. Expected to be able to understand with others using a foreign language, learners need to find the most appropriate words and also the correct grammar to convey meaning precisely and accurately. It is also important to organize the discourse so that the interlocutor understands what the speaker is saying and will cause a response in communication. Interaction is the most important point in the success of the teaching and learning process, because interaction is a collaborative exchange of thoughts, feelings, and ideas between a teacher and students, interaction between the students and other students that produce reciprocal effects on each other. This study aims to determine how the interaction in experiencing online- offline speaking English learning at SMA PGRI Katibung. The objective of this research is to find out the teacher-students interaction in online-offline classes. This study uses qualitative research design aiming to how the teacher-students interaction. The results were gained from observation, questionnaire, and interview. Observation is aimed to find out the teacher- students interaction, some categories that occur during the observation class, namely in the teacher's conversation seen in: the teacher praises or encourages, the teacher asks questions, the teacher lectures the content. And on pupil talk seen in: students understand the material, student responses. In silent mode we can see in students interacting with the x material. The result of the questionnaire, the researcher saw some looking at their choices and resulted, in some students chose agree and strongly agree around 60%, the students chose neutral around 30%, and the students chose disagree around 10%. This shows that students think about teacher interactions resulting in positive and negative responses, which can be answered when a sample of participants is interviewed.
