Apriansah, (2022). “The Analysis of Students` Difficulties in Speaking Skill in The Tenth Grade Learning Material “Talking About Self” at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung” This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the difficulties of grade 10 students when practicing speaking. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. The purpose of this kind of method is to describe the other person's point of view about a particular phenomenon. It is also used to get correct, precise, and well-organized explanations about students' difficulties in speaking English. The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties of students when speaking in English, especially when introducing themselves using English in the material "Talking About Self". This research was conducted in class 10 of the Department of Computer and Network Engineering at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung.To collect data, researchers conducted observations and interviews. The data collected was analyzed by combining the results of observations and interviews with students in several paragraphs. The population in this study amounted to 30 students and a sampling of 15 students. The technique used is random sampling.The results of this study indicate that in speaking the material talking about self finds difficulties faced by students, namely, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, fluency, nervousness, lack of confidence, not knowing aspects of speaking and never practicing. Besides that, students also have difficulty in speaking because of their mother tongue, so that the pronunciation is not good in English
