Ade (2021), The Analysis of Students’ Confidence in Public Speaking at 7th Semester English Department of Universitas Bandar Lampung. The aims of this research are to find out the level of students confidence in public speaking as well as to explore the factors that influence students’ confidence in public speaking 7th semester English Deparment of Universitas Bandar Lampung. This research used case study qualitative method. The research was done at 7th Semester English Department of Universitas Bandar Lampung that consisted of thirty seven students. Data gathering was done by doing observation, questionnaire, and interview to ten students. The data was analyzed by combining the result from the observation, questionnaire, and interview. The results of this research showed that the level of students’ confidence in public peaking at 7th semester English department of Universitas Bandar Lampung was still at a low level. The results of the questionnaire show that students still have a low level of students’ confidence in public speaking as much as 62.2%. The factors that influencing the level of students’ confidence in public speaking include lack of self-confidence, having negative thinking patterns such as afraid of mistaken words and anxious, lack of motivation, inadequate vocabulary, inadequate abilities, and inadequate preparation.
