This objective of the research is to know the readability level of students’ writing using Hemingway application in SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung. The use of Hemingway application identifies whether students’ writing can be read or not. It is determined by the color indicator in the application. This research used descriptive study method. The research was done at SMA Yadika Bandar Lampung. Data gathering was done by doing observation and interview. The data was analysed by combining the result from the observation and interview. The results of this research explained that the use of Hemingway application showed how to find out students’ writing readability level. It functions for the students’ to identify the writing readability level. The combination of those two instruments is that Hemingway application is able to facilitate the students’ in writing class. They mostly agreed that this method could make them more interested in this class and it could help them to improve their writing skills.
