Universitas Bandar Lampung. Advisor: Deri Sis Nanda., S.S ., Ph.D Reading is the process in gaining the knowledge and information from a written text. In learning the reading skill, the students faced any difficulties. Mostly the difficulties are the reading text which is long and not interesting for the students. The students have lack of vocabulary. It makes them feeling lazy to read and they do not understand what the text is about. In teaching reading, the teacher has an important role; one of them is to provide ceratin Medias in teaching and learning process. In this study, the researcher discovers a media to improve student’s vocabulary mastery. This study was conducted to describe that reading English articles on tmz.com helps the students to improve vocabulary mastery. The data of this study were gathered from two instruments, observation and interview.By conducting this study we would know that the students sometimes feel bore in reading a long text of this book. The students need an interesting media to help them in improving vocabulary. By using this website the students got new vocabulary and felt enjoy in the learning process.
