This objective of this research is to know there is significant effect of turn taking strategy on students’ speaking skill of eleventh grade at SMA Muhammadyah 2 Bandar Lampung. This research was quantitative research. The research was done at eleventh grade at SMA Muhammadyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Using two classes, as experimental class and control class. Every class consist of thirty three students. Data gathering was done by test. The data was analyzed by t-test statistical analysis by using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the research showed that giving full turn taking strategy in the experimental class , there no significant difference between experimental class and control class. Experimental class did increase from pretest to posttest score, but it was not significant statistically. Different from control class, there was decrease from pretest to posttest score. Reseacher found some factors supporting this condition. Motivation for study and attendace are factors which are important for skill achievement.
